Virtual Card Service Usage
By signing up and accessing Edlinpay, you agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions specified in this document. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the virtual card service complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards in your jurisdiction. The virtual card provided by our platform is strictly for lawful online payments, and any attempt to misuse or abuse the card service, including fraudulent activities or violations of local or international laws, may lead to account suspension or termination. Our service aims to provide a secure and reliable payment method for online transactions, and we reserve the right to modify these terms as necessary to protect the integrity of the platform and its users.
Creating and Funding Virtual Cards
Once you have completed the account registration process and verified your identity, you will be eligible to create a virtual card. The creation process involves generating a unique card that can be used for online payments. After creating the virtual card, you will need to fund it in order to make transactions. The amount you fund will determine the available balance on the card. Our platform supports a variety of payment methods for adding funds, such as bank transfers, credit cards, and other online payment options. Once the funds are added, the balance will be available for immediate use. The spending limit for your virtual card will be set to match the available balance, allowing you to manage your funds efficiently. Please ensure that the funds you add are in your account before making any purchases, as transactions will be declined if there are insufficient funds.
Card Payment Transactions
When you make a payment using the virtual card, the platform will process the transaction through a secure and encrypted gateway. Payments can be made on any third-party websites or platforms that accept card payments. Once the payment is authorized, the corresponding amount will be deducted from your card balance in real time. This deduction will be reflected immediately in your account’s transaction history. In case of unsuccessful transactions or insufficient funds, you will be notified promptly, and the transaction will not be processed. Please note that we do not store your full card details on our platform; all payment information is securely processed and handled by our trusted payment processor, ensuring the highest level of security for your data. Any issues related to online purchases should be addressed directly with the merchant or platform where the transaction took place.
Balance Monitoring and Updates
Your virtual card balance will be updated in real time as soon as a transaction is processed. You can view your current card balance and transaction history at any time via your user dashboard. This will help you keep track of your available funds, ensuring you are aware of your balance before making additional payments. If you need to increase your card’s balance, you can easily top up your account using any of the available funding methods. We also provide notifications via email or in-app alerts when your balance is low or when a significant transaction has occurred. The system will automatically adjust the card’s spending limit based on the funds available, ensuring that your virtual card is always ready for secure payments.
Security and Fraud Prevention
Our platform takes security seriously and implements industry-leading measures to protect your data and prevent fraudulent activity. All transactions made with the virtual card are monitored for suspicious behavior. We utilize advanced fraud detection systems to identify any unusual activity. If we detect any suspicious transaction, we may temporarily freeze your card and notify you via email or other contact methods. If fraud is confirmed, we will take immediate action to disable your card and prevent further unauthorized transactions. Additionally, we recommend that you keep your account login credentials secure and change your password regularly. If you suspect any unauthorized activity on your account or card, please contact our support team immediately for assistance. We also encourage users to enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for an added layer of security.
Refund and Dispute Policy
Merchant-Level Disputes: For issues related to non-delivery of goods, defective items, or order cancellations, you must first contact the merchant directly to request a refund or cancellation. Refunds issued by merchants will be credited back to your virtual card balance once processed by the payment networks.
Transaction Disputes and Chargebacks: If you identify an unauthorized, duplicate, or fraudulent transaction on your virtual card, or if a merchant fails to fulfill a agreed-upon refund, you must submit a formal dispute to Edlinpay Support within 60 days of the transaction date.
Investigation Process: Upon receiving a dispute claim along with supporting evidence (such as receipts, communications with the merchant, or proof of cancellation), Edlinpay will review the claim and submit it to our issuing bank and payment processing network.
Resolution Timeline: Dispute investigations typically take between 30 to 90 days, depending on card network policies (Visa/Mastercard). If the dispute is decided in your favor, the disputed amount will be credited back to your account.
Abusive or Fraudulent Disputes: Submitting false, frivolous, or fraudulent dispute claims, or initiating chargebacks for valid transactions that you authorized, is strictly prohibited and constitutes a breach of these Terms. Edlinpay reserves the right to charge an administrative fee for unfounded disputes and to suspend or terminate accounts engaging in dispute abuse.
Suspension, Freezing, and Termination of Service
Right to Suspend: We reserve the right to temporarily freeze or permanently terminate your virtual card account in cases of suspicious activity, suspected fraud, compliance or AML (Anti-Money Laundering) checks, or violation of our Terms of Service.
Notification and Verification: If your account is suspended or frozen, you will be notified promptly via email, unless restricted by law or regulatory authorities. You may be required to provide additional identity verification or transaction documentation to resolve the hold.
Handling of Remaining Balance: In the event of permanent account termination, any remaining funds—after deducting applicable administrative fees, chargeback reserves, or outstanding liabilities—will be returned to your verified funding source, subject to legal and regulatory compliance restrictions. Edlinpay will not confiscate legitimate user balances unless ordered by a court or competent regulatory authority.
Appeals: You may appeal an account suspension or termination by contacting customer support at contact@edlinpay.com. Edlinpay maintains ultimate authority in determining final compliance and operational decisions.
Limitation of Liability
Our platform strives to provide the best service possible, but we are not liable for any damages or losses incurred due to the use of the virtual card, except where required by law. This includes direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from issues such as unauthorized transactions, system downtimes, network outages, or third-party merchant rejections. We do not guarantee that the virtual card service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors. You agree to use the service at your own risk, and we disclaim any warranties, express or implied, regarding the performance or reliability of the service. In cases where legal responsibility cannot be excluded, our liability will be limited to the total amount of funds held in your account at the time of the incident, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
In the event of any disagreement, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of Edlinpay services, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter informally by contacting contact@edlinpay.com. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days of notice, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration or settled before the competent courts in accordance with applicable local laws and regulations governing financial technology services.
